Avoncroft Museum Showman's Wagon
Worcestershire's fabulous open-air museum of historic buildings is proudly hosting an exhibition dedicated to Showmen and their way of life. In order to create an authentic appaerance, hand painted backgrounds were digitised before adding the content in a sympathetic style to a selection of A1 panels. The final finish enhances the hand painted effect (creating a traditional enamel sign style). We produced and delivered the series of robust, aluminium composite panels to help Avoncroft Museum enhance this remarkable exhibition.

Statfold Narrow Gauge Museum
Within the grounds of Statfold Country Park is a working museum housing a large collection of narrow gauge historic steam and diesel engines. The brief for the interpretation panels had two specific criteria. Firstly they needed to be movable as the steam engines are constantly in use on the parks narrow gauge tracks - hence the robust free standing solution. And secondly they needed to have some element that would engage younger visitors who visit the Museum allowing them to compare the engines on display. The 'Top Trumps' style card positioned at eye level on each panel allows the Museum to create quizzes and trails for younger visitors. To make it easier to recognise the correct panel when trains are out on the track, each panel is colour-coded to the engine that it relates to in the traditional livery colours.

The Association of Anaesthetists.
The Association's London venue is home to a unique Heritage Centre which tells the fascinating story of anaesthesia. This is a 'rolling' exhibition space that is aimed at visitors and associates who already have an understanding of the content. Usually, the information on an interpretation panel would be as concise as possible but, in this environment, viewers want the full story and have the opportunity to learn something that they may have not known before. We have produced an array of different display panels including "object" panels which provide detail on various artefacts. The challenge here was presenting a sizeable amount of text and imagery in a predetermined space whilst ensuring that the information is clear, readable, and visually appealing.
