Charles Design has worked with Mister Dave’s for a number of years and helped with the ongoing development of its brands, packaging, and promotional materials.
The main range of retail microwave ready meals is a familiar sight in convenience store freezers and we have evolved these over time, incorporating new designs, changes in recipes, and food packaging requirements.
A number of additional brands have been introduced to the market – each with its own unique set of requirements.
With the Shakla brand our task was to develop a retail identity that conveys quality Indian style meals in a budget price range. We used typography and design elements to create a series of packages with a strong Asian influence.
We used a far more minimal approach with the Farm shop range in order to achieve a contemporary “home-grown” image that is in keeping with the farm shop environment where buyers expect natural colours and a simpler, “quieter” tone to the design.
