The creation of the new IHP website represented a major development in the marketing approach used by this well-established company.
Visit siteAs a leading specialist in the manufacture of hose fittings and turned parts, IHP had traditionally used a printed catalogue to generate orders. With continual additions to the range and a need to hone the efficiency of the sales process, IHP took the bold decision to rely entirely on a new on-line catalogue to promote their products.
The new site was a chance to restructure the product listings in order to make navigation and selection as user-friendly as possible – it was important to bear in mind that this was also a key change for IHP’s existing customers.
We worked closely with IHP to develop a clean, modern design that clearly showcases the firm’s manufacturing capabilities as well as their extensive portfolio of quality products.
Because we had built the site around our specially developed content management system our customer can add new items and update existing information quickly and easily.
The project required completely new photography in order to show the many parts and fittings to their best advantage as well as representing the customer’s advanced stock, order processing and production facilities.
We also took the opportunity to refresh the IHP logo, creating an instantly recognizable brand with strong links to the original design.
